Individual Therapy

Depth-oriented psychological work for adults

I offer individual therapy for adults seeking thoughtful, depth-oriented psychological work. This includes therapists seeking personal therapy within their own process of reflection and growth.

My approach is existential and relational, and is oriented toward understanding human experience in its complexity — including identity, meaning, relationship, responsibility, and change.

People often arrive at this work during periods of transition or uncertainty, or when familiar ways of understanding themselves and their lives no longer feel sufficient. Therapy here is not about quick solutions or symptom management alone, but about making sense of one’s inner life and lived experience in a way that supports greater clarity, agency, and meaning.

How I work

My approach is reflective and relational. It is informed by contemporary psychological research, professional standards, and evidence-based practice, while remaining grounded in the uniqueness of each person’s lived experience.

Rather than following a prescriptive model, the work is guided by curiosity, dialogue, and shared inquiry. We attend to patterns, values, emotional life, and the questions that emerge when life feels complex, uncertain, or demanding.

This form of therapy may be a good fit if you are:

  • Interested in depth-oriented or existential approaches

  • Seeking space to reflect on your inner life and relationships

  • Looking for a thoughtful, exploratory therapeutic process

  • Navigating transition, responsibility, or questions of meaning

Scope of practice

I provide individual therapy for adults, offered exclusively via secure video platform.

I do not provide crisis or emergency services. If you are experiencing an emergency or require immediate support, please contact local emergency services or a crisis line in your area.

Practical considerations

Therapy is offered by appointment only on a fee-for-service basis. My fee for individual therapy is $245 per 50-minute session, in accordance with the BC Psychological Association fee guide. Payment is made by e-Transfer at the time of service, and receipts are provided for reimbursement purposes.

I am a psychologist registered with the CHCPBC (#04252). Fees may be covered in full or in part by extended health benefit plans; however, coverage varies, and clients are responsible for confirming eligibility with their provider. I do not bill directly to insurance companies.

Engaging in therapy is a personal decision, and it is important that the approach feels like a good fit. You are welcome to reach out with questions or to inquire about availability.
